ktvu channel 2news. >> all right. time now 7:06. let's go to sal who is checking traffic and checking on the east shore. >> that's right. right now traffic is -- look to what -- the traffic is doing pretty well if you are driving on the east shore freeway. the traffic times getting a little more robust if you will. it's about a 15 minute drive from the richmond area . when you get there it's about a ten minute delay. the toll plaza backed up. if you are on the peninsula, southbound direction is getting busier from 238 down to fremont. you will see more slow traffic. southbound 101 still looks good as you drive, only an eight minute drive time. >> it's a gloomy start. the sunrise at 7:20, still a bit gray and dark. we will remain partly sunny mostly cloudy for the afternoon. for most of us the showers have ended in its wake we are dealing with fog. visibility a tough call getting through areas like santa rosa, visibility down to between a half mile and a mile. i want to track some of that rain. we are looking at it here. it's move
